One can give many explanations why, how, and for what reason - it does not change the fact that the kitchen has no window, you are dependent on incandescent lamps, yet the guest toilet has two windows, which are not exactly practical for urinating and showering... And all because of the exterior appearance!
The living room is too small for that, the dining area and the hallway are much too large.

Since you don't want to give up the symmetrical corner windows, I would suggest swapping the kitchen and the living area :)

Should it be a "dressing room" with a wardrobe or a walk-in closet with open shelves/clothing rods? You can also place a wardrobe like that in the bedroom. A walk-in closet, on the other hand, offers many more design options (you can get ideas from the big Swedish furniture store, but you can also get custom-cut shelves from the hardware store) and you can basically store twice as much clothing and laundry there as in a "classic" wardrobe (measured by wall length). And if it is important to you to change/get dressed in peace without waking the sleeping husband/partner/bedroom roommate, then you should really consider access via the hallway.

Not everything that is beautiful is practical. Not everything that is practical is beautiful. That reminds me of shoes, but it’s no different with house planning. :)

Our plan so far was to build a walk-in closet accessible through the bedroom. But we have now come to terms with the bathroom only having one door!

But it is not finally fixed yet!

And always halfway through the kitchen when you want to go from the car into the house. In addition, the door to the garage is positioned incredibly poorly. If you imagine that after 3 years the usual junk is in the garage, along with a few shelves. Then the driver's path to the door is blocked by their own car.
