are you even continuing with the outdoor area or are you putting everything on hold until you know how you will proceed?

It was not for nothing that cooking used to be done in separate kitchen wings or kitchen buildings

I can appreciate both. However, in a closed kitchen, I would like to have a lot of space for a large dining table and a bar/counter. Then it would basically be the common room, especially when guests are over, and the living room would be more of the private family corner.
