The draftsman probably didn’t plan anything concerning the finishing trades either—so neither detailed drawings nor quantity surveys and assessments. On their own like that, it unfortunately can’t become a proper tender. You have to have quite a bit of extra money then, namely the so-called tuition fees.

My husband is a civil engineer and feels confident handling the tender including awarding the contract. If we were completely "industry outsiders," we would not have done the expansion house project.
