That will also be the case with me, and there will also be thermostats. The question I asked myself was whether you should make them smart or if that's nonsense.

Yes, we are building with KFW 55.

Anything beyond a temperature display to satisfy curiosity or to use this information in other ways (e.g. statistics) is rather unnecessary in modern and inhabited houses. The underfloor heating simply cannot react as quickly as you want (or know from high-temperature systems aka radiators). By the time the screed has warmed up or cooled down, the next morning has already dawned. Or even 2-3 days have passed, in particularly efficient systems. You can still install an ERR as prescribed. But in the end, hardly anyone uses it, because it is unnecessary with underfloor heating. Of course, with systems that are completely messed up, it is different. There it only works via the emergency brakes on the walls.

Quick side question: what exactly is meant by ERR?

Single Room Control means a thermostat in each room and a valve on each circuit.

Ah yes, sure, I understand. Thanks.

Is it possible to monitor the thermostats or are there options directly at the thermostat in each room, so that the temperature data is logged in Home Assistant? As you said, purely for informational purposes.

You can also achieve individual room control by measuring the temperature, for example with a touch sensor that is already there, and letting the software handle the regulation. It then controls the valves. This way, you don’t have to install ugly thermostats in every room and you won’t have them on the wall if you eventually find the path to proper hydraulic balancing :)
