Nevertheless, the others are not rubbish. Loxone also has its charm and good ideas.
I came across the Comexio system while further searching for a suitable smart home system
They say they offer a professional smart home at affordable prices
Has anyone already had experience with the Comexio smart home?
Is again a PLC with manufacturer dependency. If it smokes, you have a dumb home. If the manufacturer goes bankrupt... etc. Wiring is also more extensive than, for example, KNX.
I witnessed the SD card problem twice with my brother; after that, he converted everything to KNX and never had problems again. But sure, you need ETS 5, and meanwhile, there is also an affordable Home edition. Parameterizing is no stress either but not flashy; for that, I simply have the choice. Just the different presence detectors that work optically or detect breathing via ultrasound. Still, I guess a Loxone system is simpler and faster for the average user. You just have to decide what is more important to you.The Loxone bankruptcy is rather doubtful. That the components are no longer available is doubtful. If the KNX power supply burns out, the system is down just the same. You replace the Miniserver, put the SD card back in, and the system runs. With KNX, you first need a programmer to reconnect the components with ETS.
