What exactly is supposed to be achieved? That the children don't fiddle with it anymore or for what reason?

Basically, there should be no ERR on a heat pump that can restrict the possible volume flow. If the heating is only set to 21 degrees but the thermostats are at 25 degrees, it doesn't make sense anyway.

We are building according to KfW55 and additionally use a controlled residential ventilation system.

According to the Energy Saving Ordinance, an ERR must be installed.

Since we are using an air-to-water heat pump, which reacts very slowly to temperature differences, it is enough for me to use automatic programs (night setback) or set it "fixed."

This way, I do not need controllers in every room, which neither look nice nor offer the option to fiddle with them.

It's not your air-water heat pump that reacts slowly, but the underfloor heating.

Decommissioned Err means there is only one place where you control the temperature, and that is your heat pump.

The thermostats are out of order.

You set the temperature for the first two winters using the volume regulators on the distributor for the individual rooms, and after that, you don't touch it anymore.

Look up thermal balancing online; it is explained there.

That’s exactly the point! However, I don’t know whether I want to turn the valves myself or simply control a room controller via radio.

Currently, the visual benefit is my priority, not having a visible thermostat above the light switch in every room but still having the option to use ERR if necessary.

One solution could be, for example, similar to the "eQ-3 Homematic IP" control box.

What I hope for:
1.) To remove the room control as a switch/thermostat from the room or to place a radio component somewhere in the room that only transmits the room temperature to the control box.

edit1: There are also motion detectors, window contacts, wall switches, and smart plugs that already have a temperature sensor integrated and can be used for underfloor heating control.

2.) To set the temperature centrally similar to , so that the adjustment of the valves is done manually via the control box by setting the desired temperature manually.

Am I having a conceptual error here? Does anyone use a control box for underfloor heating?

Best regards
M

Yes, you have a misconception.

You still believe you can control underfloor heating via the thermostats/ERR.

Thermostats only stop the flow; at best, this does not affect your heat pump, but you will get significantly higher electricity costs; in the worst case, it will go into fault mode and wear out sooner.

The only place where the temperature should be controlled, after a successful thermal balancing, is the heating curve of the heat pump.

I don't fully understand that. If the base setpoint of the heat pump and the thermostats is the same, each individual heating circuit can be controlled individually from the room, or rather my thermostat is the controller that then opens or closes the valve. If I have no thermostats or room sensors, then control is purely according to the heating curve or the outside temperature. For example, at an outside temperature of 15°C, this means a fully open valve, even though the room has already heated up to 21°C due to solar gains (this is, of course, a bit exaggerated).
