Hello Merlin,
the spout is practically a rectangular plastic profile. So the water only comes out at the tip.
Since it cannot be cleaned inside, limescale residues will accumulate there. That’s why I wouldn’t recommend it for the bathroom.
Sprays: here I have half-closed the small angle valves to reduce the pressure.
The tap was bought cheaply on a whim at a trade fair and will be replaced, as it is actually too big.
If you want something stylish, non-splashing, and durable, here’s a photo of the old bathroom:
The glass plate in the photo was taken at the "age" of 9 years. So absolutely low-maintenance and durable.
