We did it.
Haha.. us too.. and I find our solution absolutely design-worthy. It definitely splashed more than we liked (1.20 m). Our curtain from Ikea only cost 1.99 EUR and fit perfectly right away without needing to be shortened!! And the valance also matches our curtains so well..

There are 3 bathrooms in the house and a separate toilet
Here a drywall extension was installed above the basin with lighting. The basin is 120cm wide. Opposite the basin is the toilet.
