You are right, but it doesn't help: formally, there is no obligation to build a duplex here, but effectively it is still almost "without alternative," as the former chancellor would have said. I don't see the white ship sailing anywhere else but to Hong Kong here – at least for the neighbor of the OP in house 28a. The OP himself could also build a detached house, but then the neighbor would have to do the same – blood boils when it boils. I see sufficient storage space in the attic. With the house height, the situation in the corridor of the high-voltage line must be taken into account. The "path" in the north is part of the property of house 29.

I don't think the OP is to blame if the neighbor has difficulties building on their property. Apart from that, it probably wouldn’t be that impossible for the neighbor either.

OT: When I think of the "oak" there. That was difficult. ;)

Today I met a colleague and happened to learn that he moved into his new Danwood prefabricated house yesterday.

So he had my full attention and I asked questions rapidly.

He can fully recommend Danwood. Only the consultant in Günzburg he cannot recommend, as he supposedly caused problems and is very unmotivated.

I have now ordered the Danwood catalog and will take a look at it.

The colleague paid about 220 K without land (completely ready to move in) for about 150m². That’s a bargain, isn’t it?

Danwood offers affordable houses. I am personally a fan of Danwood. However, you have to read carefully and see what you get. The price has to come from somewhere. Often, carpet flooring is installed and window sills made of metal. You should also take a close look at ceiling heights and staircase widths. You can change many things, but then you also pay more. Nevertheless, in my opinion, these are great deals that offer a lot for the money on a simply buildable plot.

As already mentioned here, very inexpensive, but just a "Dacia". Plastic gutters, plastic downspouts, "matches" as fall protection, Styrofoam facade, etc. etc. The neighbor had to completely repaint the facade after 10 years, especially on the north side, because it was already ugly "gray". In the upper floor, he can always enjoy a sauna in summer...

I doubt that it would be significantly different with other providers. It is probably more a matter of location. But it is true, building cheaply also means using cheap materials. You have to compare carefully and always ask yourself whether you can live with it.
