After this post was published yesterday, it disappeared into thin air again today. Therefore, once again as a warning to everyone. We wanted to build a single-family house in 2012 with Allegro-Haus as the developer. However, everything was somewhat shady from the very beginning, so one didn’t really feel taken care of. But what can you do, plots in the Dresden area are rare and we were glad to have found something with Allegro-Haus. We paid a reservation fee of €2000 for a parcel. As we later found out, this is not allowed anyway according to the case number III ZR 21/10 of the Federal Court of Justice. After half a year had passed, it was time to sign the contract. However, beforehand, a so-called construction and service description (construction service description) must be signed. This must clearly describe the installed components and materials used in and around the house. Even in the construction service description, this is pointed out in the first point. Ultimately, this led to a scandal, because Allegro-Haus could or would not provide satisfactory answers to specific outstanding questions or even ignored some unanswered. Multiple repeated inquiries were without success. This was totally incomprehensible to us, as it concerned several thousand euros in optional services, which we wanted to additionally purchase from the developer. We also accepted inflated prices because we wanted to keep everything under one roof. You should at least be able to learn which elements from which company are being installed in the house. Not to mention functional descriptions. It is repeatedly advised to look at the construction service description carefully and, if necessary, consult an advisor. Because what isn’t listed also won’t be built!!! Maybe they were afraid that the real prices could be found out over the internet? After all, they offered us that if no signature was made, they would part ways with us. In other words, kick us out. We were stunned, you can’t buy a pig in a poke!!! Half a year of planning and looking forward to a home was gone. Since the trust relationship with the developer was already damaged, we ultimately gave up and demanded our reservation fee back. Many thanks Allegro-Haus, we have learned a lot from you and want to warn other interested parties against too much naivety.
