We have planned a concrete ceiling on the upper floor because we can save the ring beam and a few other things. Also, the insulation, which is to be done as DIY, is easier. Due to the concrete ceiling, no vapor barrier is needed either. So directly insulation on the concrete and then chipboard on top. OSB boards are, as you already said, not recommended because their SD value is even higher than that of chipboard. Now I have read your answer and wanted to ask if tongue and groove boards make any sense in my case at all? Probably not since I have to lay them floating. I would still appreciate a brief answer. You have to make sure on the cold roof that, for example, you do not lay OSB boards (use tongue and groove boards) and also do not lay any floor around 10 cm from the edges. Then it stays dry up there and you can use the cold roof as storage. But only things that can withstand heat and cold. There are special storage bags for that....
