For boundary buildings, length budgets apply, not just voluntary consideration for the uncle. The desired workshop dimensions already border on an "investment" relative to the circumstances. That’s exactly how I would do it if it were my property, if it were legally allowed, and if my uncle wouldn’t break off our friendship because of it.

We were at the property today and roughly measured it once with the hose level, the information from Bayernatlas mostly matches what I measured. The sewer is -2.5m deep and the pipe from the property opens into the sewer at -1.0m.

I also showed my uncle the drafts right away, he also thinks D is quite good, but would shift the house 1-2 meters further to the left according to the plan and slightly reduce the size of the workshop.
