I only see steep gable roofs in the neighborhood as well. Are there already urban villas in the area?

Why don't you ask the building authority how open they are to such ideas?

You should also inquire about the terrain modeling and boundary development at the same time.

What does the budget say now? Estimated BK 600k

Variant C was sketched by my girlfriend; she is happy to receive support :-) I can’t really imagine the workshop behind the garage right now, whether it wouldn’t become too “clunky.” What I like about C is the arrangement of workshop and garage so that a nice entrance can be created in between – at the same time providing privacy from the street view to the terrace.

That’s because the neighborhood was built around 1980 with a development plan that stipulated that. Our plot is outside the development plan. I have already been able to find that out at the building authority.

Thanks for the feedback, what do you like better about B compared to A/C?

34er wants you to adapt to the development. Therefore, my advice is to inquire at the building authority if such deviations are planned.

B because I like to have direct access from the garage to the house.

You can see that currently there is still a lot of wishful thinking involved and many things still have to be concretely planned / cut later with the architect.

With a budget of 450k, I am probably also well below your estimate of 600k.

At the moment, I take away that you prefer option B, even though higher development costs are to be expected here due to the greater distance to the road, but there is direct access to the garage in return.

When the time comes, I will clarify the site leveling and boundary construction with the building authority and my uncle.
