No funding applied for, no KWF classification, simple heat calculation, no blower door test needed, acceptance, checkmark, no harassment, we could pretty much do whatever we wanted.
But you have worse values for compliance with the Energy Saving Ordinance than with [Test]
By the way, a Blower Door Test is not pure harassment. An acquaintance failed spectacularly. During the inspection, a long list of defects came to light. Not just one window improperly sealed.

Thanks for the reply. Ah yes, right, the blower door is voluntary. With KfW you are less free; with your heating concept I can especially understand that it probably doesn’t fit into the funding scheme. We also waived KfW because of the effort; even the Energy Saving Ordinance already prescribes some things that can be disadvantageous. Looking back, I must admit I would have taken advantage of KfW 40 simply because we are not far from it. We still had two BD tests done, due to deficiencies in the first test.
Should have no problems with the KfW. Renewable energy powers his heating system
Controlled residential ventilation is not mandatory
Most houses are tight anyway. Somehow the energy saving ordinance has to be complied with

Applications, that's just annoying

There was also a direct electric heating system involved, although I don't know if and how it is evaluated. In any case, I can well understand not taking advantage of the subsidy.
Almost know what was missing for the last 5%
Actually probably not much. A few centimeters of insulation in a favorable spot and above all someone with a sharper calculator. During construction we only considered KfW 55 and for me that fell out in terms of effort/benefit.
