A hedge is not an option because it takes a while to grow and requires maintenance.
The hedge needs water in summer, must be trimmed, and insects often gather in it.
We definitely want a fence.
What other fence alternatives are there?
WPC? I've heard it shouldn't touch the ground because it would otherwise rot due to morning dew.
Wood - absolutely not - the fence has to be painted regularly to keep it nice and prevent rot.
The fence should be eternally durable without maintenance or upkeep.
I think that only leaves the double wire mesh fence, right?
If the neighbors do not agree with the fence or do not want to contribute, we will place the fence directly on our property line on our property; no one can object if the development plan doesn't restrict it (it doesn't).
Tip: Concrete fence. Also add a concrete lawn area (paint it green then) and you'll never have to do anything in the garden again. It's minimalistic and clever.
Oh yes, if insects and neighbors bother you, the best is to move to a big city, somewhere in a penthouse where there are as few neighbors as possible and no animals of any kind.
I wouldn't contribute a single € to such a fence. It's just ugly, isolating, and unwelcoming.
Stone gardens are forbidden in the development plan. Does a gravel strip already count as one?
Bravo!!! I think it's great that a garden must also consist of plants. Such "stone" gardens must be banned:
