Eight years ago for us it was half the price. We paid under 30€/sqm. Advantages: it is much harder and cheaper ;) When I google, I no longer come to the site where we bought it. They come and they go, the shops... The shops that in Google for example have the words Bamboo and Shop or Parquet and Sale visually approach the shop where we bought the parquet. ... Prices from 40€, but rather around 50€...

Yes, I also found around 50 euros. And unfortunately, that is significantly more expensive than parquet.

That would already speak in favor of the vinyl

We are getting lacquered beech as stair steps

currently the prices are also around €50 for the bamboo parquet and really more expensive than normal wooden parquet

I have only found the bamboo parquet in lacquered version as well. the look is also not quite as nice as real wood (somewhat an acquired taste)

Currently, vinyl and parquet are in the closer selection

Yes, it is different. However, nowhere does it say that you are looking for a wood grain.
For someone who basically wants a nice flooring for their house, they will find a beautiful natural, durable, warm floor covering that they can lay themselves.
And for someone who wants something a bit different from others and also for ecological reasons, it may be more expensive than mainstream oak.
If you don't like it, it’s not for you :)

We took a look at the floor coverings on site.

Our current favorite is vinyl.

Parquet is basically off the table. I have read and it was also said on site that dog claws can easily scratch the parquet and that parquet discolors when in contact with urine (especially oak).

Laminate has a very smooth surface where dogs can easily slip, but it is resistant. Due to the hard surface, the walking noises are very loud, especially with dog claws.

Vinyl, on the other hand, is quiet when walking over it, always warm to the touch, and pleasant. Vinyl is also said to be gentle on joints because it has a softer surface. However, it is still resistant to scratches and water or urine, nothing can really harm it.

Before the topic of urine starts: if you have a dog, you know that it can happen occasionally, whether it happens when the dog is still a puppy or very old or has an illness (e.g., bladder infection). It can just happen (even if not often, you still don’t want a dark spot on the parquet just because it happened once).

We couldn’t look at cork; for that, we have to go to another store again.

Well great, now the direction is right. It only took 11 pages and 65 posts ... ;) Now we just need to convince you that gluing is really better than floating installation.
