Well, you really have to think about it. I once had a project with a double-digit number of fancy townhouses in a prime location in Frankfurt, where the architects thought that video intercoms would look really great mounted on concrete pillars by the street. Unfortunately, the front doors were about 5 meters further back on the property, so to this day no one has ever seen anyone on the camera. Without exception, everyone just rings the bell and then goes to the door. Bad thing. You just have to consider for yourself where and how you would approach the doorbell if you were a guest. Then you can decide where the camera sees you and where it doesn’t.
