We will take the "Intercom Set-IP" from Dahua and additionally two more indoor intercom stations. It is distributed here by aasset. It also seems to be identical in construction to the Goliath IP system. All modules are powered via PoE and the switch for this is also included in the scope of delivery.

Price-wise, we are at half the cost of the Verso with 3 indoor stations.

Is it already in use with you?

I am currently also in the process of selecting a door station. I ended up with the Verso or the Wantec Monolith. The Monolith offers E-Key, but I somehow prefer RFID with a chip because then there isn’t much left that is on the one hand affordable and on the other hand still looks reasonably good.

May I ask which configuration you use? So which modules? Surface-mounted or flush-mounted?

Thanks!

Ours is surface-mounted, with video and the KeyPad module, tamper contact, and security relay. I am very satisfied with it, especially because I was able to integrate it quite well into my Loxone server. However, I do not have the indoor station because we use a mobile phone and FritzBox.

Thanks for the explanation, one more question:

2N states a horizontal viewing angle of 120° for the camera.

Can I also rotate the camera inside the housing myself?

The problem for us is as shown in the picture. The detection area only starts about 60cm away from the door.
I know that most people take a step back after ringing, which would actually put them in the camera's field of view.
But if someone stays in front of the door, I can no longer see the person.

Thanks for your help!

No, unfortunately the camera inside the Verso cannot be rotated, but with the predecessor it was apparently still possible.

Hello everyone,

we are currently dealing with the same question as well.
We are still in the shell construction phase but want to think ahead.
Our electrician installs the standard Marmitek Doorguard 450, but we are not really convinced by this system since there are no reviews of it on the internet.
We also do not have a KNX system installed in the house, so quite "old school".
We are looking for a video intercom system with 2 indoor units for the ground floor and upper floor. The app control that many report about sounds really great, but we would only want to use it for video transmission and speaking function, not for opening the door (outside of Wi-Fi). We definitely do not want fingerprint.

The range of products on the market is just too large.

Best regards
