We have the flush-mounted version and have the same problem with the camera position because unfortunately we still have a step at the door and a transparent part between the door and the bell, so various people appear in front of the camera at different times.

The thing with the ringtones is true so far; if you are skilled in IT, there is the possibility to install Asterisk with the SIP firmware—just google it, there is a great explanation in other forums.

This is actually a bit off-topic, but I don't want to create a separate thread, so almost here now:
We would like a door opener with fingerprint, preferably WITHOUT video, only as an intercom. What would you use for that? It shouldn’t be too expensive...

Does anyone have experience with Mobotix intercom systems? The company has been established for years in camera and object surveillance and is probably one of the market leaders, but I have not seen any feedback regarding the intercom systems.

Hmm well the cameras have always been able to transmit image and sound, the step to an intercom system is not far now.

That's true, but I would be interested to know if the door intercom works just as well as the rest. The other manufacturers of video intercom systems probably don't build the cameras themselves either, and even if they source good ones, it seems you can still mess up everything else...

I would be interested in this product because the manufacturer promises a hemispherical panoramic view, that is, a seamless view from wall to wall. If now someone from the forum says, yes we have this and it has proven itself in practice, then I would buy it
