You should fundamentally be clear about one thing. If you ask a craftsman (or service provider, or anyone else) about another craftsman in the same industry, you will rarely or never hear "Oh, that one. Yes, he always works very diligently, much better than we do."

It is part of the game to badmouth the competitor as much as possible on the construction site. And honestly, those who do not rot away in the public sector or as civil servants in a position, but have to perform daily to keep their job—why should they warmly recommend their competition? I am convinced that we do it better than our direct competitors... that’s why I work for my employer and not somewhere else...

So with 3 offers, you took the "middle" one, not the second most expensive. Why not the most expensive one? After all, you expected premium, right? If I want premium, I buy a BMW, not a VW. That naturally costs more.

And then as a layman you can’t even distinguish silicone, acrylic, and filler material, but want to sue a professional because you don’t like his work. The lawyer who takes this case will definitely get money. But from you... not from the parquet layer...

You can see zero social skills and customer unfriendliness in such comments. I hope you do not work directly with customers. By the way, the offers differed by 50-100€. A plus was that the provider was on site and in the same city. The follow-up appointment was partially successful. The ugly small strips at the window were removed, and due to the crooked joints, there was a discount.

A firefighter or police officer will definitely enjoy reading that. You certainly do much more! And that, without risking your life for others every day!

The garbage man and the guy driving a snowplow at 5 a.m. are also public servants. Although in his world, there aren't any winters anymore anyway ;)

Everyone take a deep breath :)

That sounds as if you found a reasonably satisfactory solution.

yeah, kind of, a third-party company still has to come to renew the crooked joints at the transitions or replace the floorboards and then lay them continuously again.
