The joint alignment from wall to floor is not symmetrical, what to do?

The floor tile is continuous, but what matters to us is that the wall tile in the shower was not cut the same way as the floor tile. So that the joints do not "run through continuously."

That is already clear to me, but since the wall there apparently definitely needs a cut tile, an overall view would be very helpful. For example, when I look at this picture, the question is whether the wall there would have looked better with a pieced tile at the edge.

If you value these continuous lines, in such a case a really good pre-planning is required, which may already include the basic design of the bathroom. Because, if you maybe get the lines exactly right in a corner with the shower, it might not look good when continued in the rest of the bathroom, because it leads to awkward edge pieces and similar issues at their edges.

If you have such requests, they must be planned accordingly. Or at least discussed with the tiler.

It's always the case that this only comes up after the damage is done. Are you supervising the construction yourself?

What does the architect say about this?

I believe that's now complaining on a high level, isn't it? The floor also doesn't seem to be grouted yet, and once it's done in a not so contrasting color, you hardly notice the joints anymore. Right now, they really catch your eye.

To plan something like that, you first have to know about it. A good tiler pays attention to that, a bad one is just glad that the tile is on and straight.

With the two small excerpts, one can only speculate. I assume the tiler had a plan, since he also managed to continue the joints at the shower floor edge. But the information to assess the whole situation does not seem to be provided by .
