Very messy parquet laying work - Is rework not possible?

Jigsaw instead of circular saw, indeed. Probably his was stolen and hasn't been replaced yet, he didn't want to postpone the job and had to tell the customer it had to be that way.
(Actually, tools are stolen from craftsmen here, it's no longer amusing, hence my theory).

So, when they installed the baseboards, a circular saw was used. I think this craftsman doesn't care about aesthetics and fine workmanship is a foreign word to him. But now comes the kicker, he wants to sue me for "defamation" because I gave him a 1-star Google review with the words: "the pictures speak for themselves, order value 2x xxx €". Interesting approach on his part :)

This is a specialist company that delivered their work like this. Why shouldn't one be allowed to show that? Then if guests ask him who messed up his floor, he should also only say "I am not allowed to say that, that would be damaging to the entrepreneur's reputation"?

Wrong argumentation: - Either the company sees it as defective, then they have to correct it - or they say that it’s great. Then they also can’t complain if someone posts pictures of it.

I see it like the others. These are pictures of the company's work, with which the company is obviously satisfied. It would be damaging to the reputation if I were posting some botched work that came from someone else.

The comment with the 1-star rating already shows that it is clearly meant to be interpreted very negatively. Comments on the internet are minefields. Just like negative eBay reviews in the past, if anyone still remembers. But please... anyone not yet occupied with the construction can find new battlegrounds there.
