The lawn mowing robot is on – which one do you use and what do you say about it?

It’s the same for me. With the original Gardena blades and all kinds of other replacement blades, the lawn looks “plucked” after just a few days. Only since switching to C-blades has the cut stayed nice for longer. However, with the C-blades there is a risk that they break and get left somewhere – so I only keep them on for a maximum of three weeks. (I have a Sileno City 500)

I have also already looked for alternatives, but only found these “Titan”-coated ones. I have now ordered them in a pack of 30.

No, I don't think so. Mine has been running smoothly like this for years, and the lawn looks great.

Whether the blades are fixed in position or reach there through centrifugal force should not matter.

I don't lose any status by following the advice and clearing the blades every few days. As I said, I suspect there is a reason why it is recommended that way.

It is not time yet but next year it could become interesting. We have an L-shaped lawn (i.e. a 6-meter wide strip on the left side of the house and then a thick strip extending from the terrace), slight slope, about 700 sqm, 2 apple trees, 1 plum tree, orchard meadow (i.e. dandelions etc.), the slight slope is partly supported by a retaining wall, which means the robot would have to drive past the wall. Does anyone have a suggestion for me?
