The lawn mowing robot is on – which one do you use and what do you say about it?

We went with a Robomow. The area is quite simple: 400 sqm, almost square, and without any slope. The advantage of Robomow is that it has an edge mowing function, meaning it first drives completely around the mowing edge. It does this absolutely precisely, so no trimming at the edge is necessary. Otherwise, it is relatively loud.

The problem: It's not just some nutcase with such a thing and everyone mows at different times. That is extreme noise pollution and thus environmental damage. A law is needed so that I can call in my lawyer :). Fortunately, the hobby chainsaw foresters have today been banned from the villages onto wood yards....it could be so nice

But you mow between 8 and half past twelve and two and six, at most seven. In the middle of the day. The world is not in cemetery silence then anyway. And you don’t mow on Sundays either. And those things are quite quiet by now. I like the sound, along with the scent of freshly cut grass. That is the smell of summer.

Could you please explain that again? Why not place the station at one end of the U? (Where we are currently planning it, since power can easily come from there and the station is out of the "main garden").

The station should always have sufficient free space around it. The station does not belong in a narrow spot. Depending on how tight it is, the minimum distances between boundary and search cables may no longer be maintained. Which mower do you want to use? Download the installation manual ;) With such an installation, you risk it not working or working only with limitations. At , the ends of the Us are very narrow. Therefore, not a suitable installation point. If it is much wider at your location, it can be installed there.

Thanks :) Which model? Our house isn't even standing yet ;);) But it’s certain that a lawn mowing robot is used and we just had that topic during the electrical planning. Our neighbors also have them about 90% of the time. So Gardena, Husqvarna, and Worx are already running around here :D We have mowed our empty plot "by hand" often enough ... enough mowing fun, even though it’s very satisfying to see the progress bit by bit :p. The "end" where the base is planned is the 3m building boundary to the neighbor's fence minus somehow edge boundaries and spray strips at the house. We’ll remember the tip about the installation manual for a few months from now.
