Hi!

Jochen's preferred option is unfortunately too expensive through our builder due to the corner bathtub. Therefore, once again the request for evaluations of the following proposals:

Best regards & many thanks!

Unfortunately, neither will work well because your passage into the shower is just under 50 cm too narrow. It will be uncomfortably tight, and if you are ever injured ([Gehhilfen]) or just a bit heavier, it will be impossible.

We based it on how large the opening currently is in our apartment. There we have a shower with two sliding elements. When these are fully opened, the opening measures 45cm. In the two proposed variants, it is 51cm (Variant1) and 55cm (Variant2).

Is it really that tight? Otherwise, we are running out of ideas. Corner bathtub, as mentioned, is too expensive and also too small (lying surface -> I am 1.89m tall).

Best regards
Gatho

So I wouldn't start below 60cm actual passage width. You also have to consider that you are probably working with shell construction measurements the whole time. On each side, an additional 1.5 or rather 2cm of wall build-up (tile adhesive and tiles) will be added. That narrows everything down again.
Besides, you want to treat yourself to some luxury in the house, right, and not base it on your previous situation?

In the two variants above, you also only used a 1.70m bathtub.

Thank you for your effort! You are right about what you mention... but what else? As you can see, even despite the new building, we are willing to make compromises (1.70x0.75m bathtub... we actually wanted 1.80x0.8m), but it just doesn't fit. Best regards Gatho

How about option 1 with the toilet next to the shower on the lower wall of the plan? Then you could save the pre-wall on one side.
