I only see the sauna anymore...

Definitely shutters and always down in the summer when the sun is shining.

so you actually wanted a conservatory? ;)
roller shutter on top, sure you don't get anything from it in the summer, but better than getting grilled...
that is something you could have thought about beforehand, right?

Venetian blinds should not only be possible with vertical guide rails; perhaps different slat profiles would then be needed (?)

We have skylights in our current apartment. You can really only call it a sauna! Definitely exterior blinds! I wanted to save on these during construction, but I have already often regretted it! But it's strange that something like this is not planned by the architect...

Most window manufacturers still offer UV roller shutters for exterior installation. These already block a large part of the heat, but given the size of your windows, it is still far too little.

You need shading on the outside.

But honestly: You will have to darken the windows for almost half a year (at least on sunny days). That certainly won't be a pleasant feeling.

The architect should come up with something else!

Looks great, but unfortunately it's a disaster in terms of living comfort in modern houses...

Exterior shading is of course an absolute must and must be down every sunny day from early morning until the last ray of sun.
Just one sunny winter day is enough... the slow floor heating system adjusts... and then at 12 noon the full blast of sun hits the house... and you immediately have a terrible indoor climate, uncomfortably warm, and you simply can’t get the heat out of the house... and I’m not even talking about summer yet...

We also have a south-facing side and larger windows, which all have to be lowered on sunny mornings; in addition, the passive cooling from the ground source heat pump kicks in right away, so we can keep the indoor temperature somewhat constant. But of course that’s no comparison to those two huge window openings you have from above, the heat gain is enormous.

If you still can, I would change the design, I would never want such a structure myself. If it can’t be changed, maximum shading and possibly air conditioning.
