I can only agree with the others...450€ seems very expensive to me. We also paid around 250€ extra per window. Maybe you could get another offer as well.

Have a nice weekend.

Hello, our prices are identical. We have a separate switch by the window for this and can also set everything at the door using a timer. The price consists of €120 for the motor and the rest are the costs for wiring and the switches. I consulted an external electrician beforehand. The price was only €10 cheaper. But then we would have the question of the warranty.........

Hi,

I think I know who dear Aytex means .

So I’m always amazed why everyone thinks it absolutely has to be a motor from the brand manufacturers?
I can only recommend you to search for Jarolift motors.
I was able to buy them for 30€ each. Produced in Germany, they make a great impression in terms of feel, look, and quality of workmanship.
In addition, out of 120 reviews on Amazon, 118 are rated with 5 stars, not to forget the 10-year warranty from the manufacturer. Rademacher, Somfy, and Co don’t last longer either.
Also don’t forget the separation relays (7.99 Jarolift) if groups are to be controlled.

All of this of course assumes that you have someone in your circle of acquaintances who dares to take on the matter or you do it yourself.
Because the electrician naturally only wants to sell his brand motors.

Best regards
EF

I also have a question about this topic. We are currently planning our house. Now we have received an offer from BT for blinds EG + DG manually, all windows except three are floor-to-ceiling (on the ground floor all are double-wing terrace doors) in the amount of 2980,-€. For the blind motors (including push and locking switches as well as wiring) per piece 260,-€. We have planned 11 windows. Therefore, I come to a total price of 5840,- € gross. Is that okay??

For the amount, I would expect at least a "better" switch, with timer functions etc., not just up-down. I would also ask what kind of motors they are; for this amount, they should already be "better" ones, e.g., self-learning and similar.

It was similar for us. That's why we controlled the motors ourselves. And by eliminating the entire mechanical belt winding, we even managed to get a free power connection for each roller shutter. Clever, right? I ordered the Jarolift because I have been using one of them for years, and they are really great. 7 or 10 years warranty and quiet. It is partly controlled with their radio remote controls, but also partly via a Homematic home automation system.
