Now look at what your average daily household consumption is. It will probably be somewhere around 10-14kWh. In winter, due to heating operation, it can easily be 20-30kWh, and for some even 50kWh per day or more. Simply calculate the difference from this or have a meter installed for the heat pump.

That is actually the simplest and ultimately the most accurate result. There are heat pumps that "measure" their electricity consumption. However, they often forget the standby operation or the pump current. Ideally, you have a meter sitting BEFORE the fuses on the DIN rail. Of course, only if you're interested...

With what power output? They are available from 4kW to 8kW heating capacity - then at full load it consumes between 800 watts and 1,600 watts per hour.
