You won't be able to get a concrete staircase in anymore. Take the stairs, whether wood or steel, with risers, then they are sealed as well.

That and the description in post #42 sound as if you have not yet seen any plans and have only wandered through the shell of the building (?) I still lack a visual idea of what the "masonry stairway" might look like in your current house.

I didn’t mean masonry, but concrete. But what does that have to do with the new build, or is this about the statement "masonry"? I can gladly take a photo tomorrow.

As I already wrote, we have had the exposé for the semi-detached house for a few days and the appointment with the company will take place in a few days. I also already mentioned that we have not been on the plot or in the shell construction, and therefore I only have a few pictures of the exterior view. I just don’t want to post an exposé here that we received for review, hence my attempt to explain it this way.

I have already looked into what options are available over the past few days and would do it that way.

Oh, I see. The phrasing "gemauert" had made me curious about what might possibly look like it was built with bricks. Of course, I know a concrete staircase, that's a fairly common standard.

Hello everyone,

I haven’t been able to get in touch much over the past few days because we were suddenly offered a building plot. However, that fell through because we decided on the semi-detached house. Today we had a longer meeting with the developer and the construction manager, and we now have the submission plans. Can I also upload these here to get your opinions? The construction description will still be changed, as the developer made some changes and the changes we requested will also be included. I would like to upload the construction description here as well.

In the next few days, we will receive a new cost breakdown to see what the bottom line is to be paid, including our requests. A preliminary contract will then be made in which it is confirmed that we want these change requests implemented as agreed once the notarized purchase contract is completed, since the construction work will continue while we have to wait for the purchase contract to become legally binding. Currently, the electrician is in the house and is already implementing our wishes; the sanitary installations will be done over the next two weeks. The bathroom will now be designed as we would like it.

A decentralized ventilation system is also planned in the house, which we would like to cancel. According to the developer, the energy consultant must check whether this is necessary to achieve KFW 55 or not; this depends on how the calculation for KFW 55 was made.

Can I post all these questions here and continue the discussion, or should I post the topics in another subforum?
