I often use the expression "Insel der Glückseligen" in conversations and mean Germany or rather most of Europe. Anyone who was "accidentally" born here is privileged!

Hi,
basically there are 2 options here, which you already had on your radar before.
Each has a pro and a con.
You won't find the perfect solution here, there are only suggestions and opinions.
Which one is best for you personally you have to figure out yourself based on the answers.
I think only the first 4-5 pages are relevant here, the rest is entertainment (but also very entertaining and interesting).
My - own personal - opinion is: keep the properties and lease them if necessary.

Oh yes, to prevent possible objections you can also lease the buildable plots (heritable building rights), the non-buildable ones to farmers, there were also horse owners somewhere here, etc. The advantages are:
    [*]You generate ongoing income from the plots [*]You remain the owner of the plots. [*]Affordable building land is created, which can also benefit families who do not have much income/capital. [*]The "capitalist" does something good for the community.

New year, new luck! We have had the right of first refusal for years, for the other semi-detached house next door ;) if the devil wills it, we viewed it today, on Monday we are going to the notary :cool: what exactly we will do after the renovation, of course we don’t know yet, maybe hoard...
