So a property tax that decreases progressively with the number of residents per square meter of land would be the fairest. Prohibitively high tax for completely unoccupied properties, and then a decrease in property tax per resident. Of course, with significantly different rates for cities and rural areas and depending on the severity of the regional housing shortage. Who will sign the petition?

Just from my point of view, I would keep our property in family possession, if I should sell it because it is not needed, of course add the tax on top ;)

Sounds all in all really very healthy. I would already be glad to be able to give up a car. But well... External circumstances just make me commute.

Working hard, taking responsibility, and taking risks are not really currency, but should pay off.

Otherwise, by the way, enlightening how little one gets in that job. Especially because the NC for it in Germany has to be very good in order to even be able to pursue this direction.
