Okay. So this means you definitely have to shoot straight because only then the project is assessed by a person and not by software? What happens if the ING refuses? It then appears in the Schufa. Does that cause problems with the next bank?

By that I mean the traffic light of ING. But you have to submit significantly more paperwork for that.

As long as no contract is concluded, only the inquiry is reported to the Schufa, which (allegedly) does not affect your score. If the check is positive, you sign, and the contract comes into effect.

I worked as a student trainee at the Dr.... store SCHUFA. Every credit inquiry affects the score. I don't understand how the government allows a corporation to gain so much power in partly existential matters....
