Acoustic engineering is an overall concept
Yes, obviously, that's why I'm asking here.
What’s interesting is not only what’s on the wall, but also what’s inside ;-)
Oh, I see. Well then... thanks.
The delusion of supposedly inherently weaker sound insulation in prefab "modular" houses is in the heads and nowhere else. If that also applies to your head, the only "help" is to build massively – according to the forum majority, sand-lime brick is considered the superior number one sound buster Buddha.
I’m aware that a prefab house can even have better soundproofing since the walls are boarded on both sides. But still, it doesn’t have to be that way. Almost every prefab manufacturer has a different wall construction, which I can hardly evaluate, so I’m asking about experiences.
I play electric guitar and would sometimes like to play loudly without annoying the neighbors.
The marketing material from Schwörerhaus seems to convince me the most. For example, that you can additionally soundproof the roller shutter box, just like the windows.
But as I said, experiences are preferable, especially from someone who also likes to play electric guitar a bit louder, possibly also drums, piano, saxophone, etc.
