Project house construction. What can I finance?

On top of that, during the PT periods, you earn a trainee salary despite immensely high training costs (> 30,000 EUR).

Also: Another 3 years of university + 5 years of therapist training (you can manage it in 3 years, but certainly not with children). That’s 8 years until your wife – sorry – costs no money, but instead contributes something to private coverage.

In your place, I wouldn’t dare take on the adventure with one income and two kids.

I have to say that our respective parents are financially well off and would certainly chip in something for the project or help us out if things got tight

With a golden parachute, that’s fine. But I would never want to voluntarily maneuver myself into that kind of dependency.

How much does a fence cost approximately, if I may ask. We probably want to have one built around the entire area. So 2x 73m (to the neighbors) and 1x 20m to the main road. There should also be an electric gate.
