lol In my experience, monument authorities don’t work like that. Ignorant people who want to push their modern plans through by force cannot do that at all. You are also not in the negotiating position for that. I would rather plan so that it looks maximally in conformity with the monument and consider one or two really essential points for a well-founded deviation. Otherwise, they will play hardball very quickly and it will become unpleasant and expensive.The ventilation from the bathroom could also be directed towards the hayloft. As already says, here one should enter into discussions with the building authority / monument protection with maximum demands and good architectural templates. So that they have something to cross out.
