Hi, attached is a floor plan for a city villa (142 sqm).
What can be improved here? How can the upper floor be improved with regard to Child 2?
All windows on the upper floor are floor-to-ceiling and in the same position as on the ground floor.
On the ground floor, for example, I would make a breakthrough to the hallway opposite the floor-to-ceiling window by the kitchen.
1. You save the route through the living room.
2. The hallway receives light through this window.
Additionally, I might possibly move the fireplace towards the living room.
- This would make the dressing room more usable; it probably wouldn't disturb Child 1.
For Child 2, the only thing I can think of is to use the hallway as well. Child 2 would then have the wide floor-to-ceiling window. The hallway would then have none at all...
