I know how practical it is to quickly dash over without a jacket.

The door has nothing to do with privacy. That depends on the residents.
No one here has entered another person's apartment without knocking and waiting to be invited in. (It’s the same with friends. Multigenerational living is not uncommon here.)
Opposite my parents’ house lives a large family spread across 3 separate houses. Privacy is zero.
Everyone has the key code, everyone stomps into each other's houses, whether someone is there or not.

Knocking… but many people don’t want that. Also, the purpose of a granny flat for the parents isn’t necessarily care or contact. It’s simply an economic reason, combined with the possibility, in the worst case. But that can also be done with a 10-meter walkway in a storm.

Doesn't sound like contact is not desired. Doors can be locked and opened if needed/worst case.

Going out of the house every morning in storm, snow, rain is not comfortable. Ok, you can just fulfill your clearing and gritting duty.

The planning does not indicate such a tight financial situation that there is no money for doors.

Oh God! Where on earth do you live that there is storm, snow, and rain every morning?

Think about whether life really brings these disasters every single day. And drizzle has never killed anyone. The church also needs to stay in the village sometimes... but I have to admit: last week I actually got wet twice in the morning on my way to the carport. In that respect, I have to increase my count from 5 to 7 times (over 4 years and 10 months) ;)

I don't think a shared entrance is so bad. Above all, I would somehow integrate the HAR, that is the house connection/technical room, so that it is not only accessible from one residential unit.

Example (Twinline Genua), which does not completely meet the requirements of fullkehr, but goes in that direction.

and for that the upper floor, although the granny flat has a flat roof.

I know this floor plan, which house is that? :) We looked at hundreds back then and this one was always a closer choice :) but for me it was very clear I don’t want a shared entrance. Even something like in the floor plan would be too much for me. Even at minus 20 degrees and snow you can just walk over 6 meters without a jacket, right? It is covered after all.
