Are you satisfied with Busch Jäger? What do you control via free@Home?

If you remind me in April, I can gladly report on my first experiences. The electrician is currently doing the final installation and we are moving in 4 weeks.

We have: lights, blinds, heating, doors, awnings, windows, a few sockets, Sonos

We have known our electrician personally for a long time, so we know that he and his partner are skilled in the matter and also master KNX... he recommended F@h to us and we trust his assessment

We use a preprogrammed PLC for the venetian blinds and Homematic IP for the heating.

Hello everyone,

maybe some of you are still following the topic here. Since Light&Building in Frankfurt unfortunately had to be canceled, I actively dealt with myGEKKO and took a look at the system at a "Solution Partner."

I have to say, it doesn't get any easier than this. Commissioning Raumbus (=KNX) is child’s play and the nice thing is, I don’t need an ETS. furthermore, I can integrate other devices and systems with known interfaces according to the same principle, which I missed a bit with other systems. I can do everything myself, commissioning, integrating Sonos, lawnmower via API, etc. Timers can also be adjusted by my wife herself because it’s really easy.

Therefore, I decided on the system, also for the display, as I can also use it simultaneously as an indoor intercom. furthermore, I can save myself one or two buttons near the display.

I’m curious whether it will be as easy and feasible in practice as it has been so far.

If I don’t manage, I have KNX in the house and can still switch.

If anyone is interested, I can gladly report on my experiences.

Best regards

Hi,

we have now ended up with the BJ KNX combined with the BJ Welcome solution. We expect this to provide a "framework" for end users as well as not too many panels in the house.

Anyone have experience with this?

Do you mean free@Home? "BJ KNX" does not exist just like there is no "GIRA KNX".

In what way "framework"? How many panels you install is usually up to you. It is also possible to do without them completely if desired.
