1. Most of it is still rather low-tech. All those standard "smarthome" devices are basically just switches with remote controls. Often just reheated with an option for voice control. 2. Without networking down to the smallest detail, you rarely get beyond the stage of a remotely controllable or automatic system. You are still far from being "smart."

Hi,

The rough installation is almost complete. So far, we have decided on BJ in combination with the Welcome, i.e. Visu as an intercom system and Visu for the KNX.

Question: do you know any good alternatives? Would it work in combination with an iPad as Visu? I saw the BJ for the first time today, it is so small and I don't think it feels particularly good in terms of haptics.

Regards

Depending on what you want to visualize, you can take a look at the MDT objektserver. It is installed with us. It is sufficient for our purposes for now. Edit: the corresponding app can also be viewed in demo mode, by the way.

You can run everything you have in mind on a tablet, and if you have an IP router in your system, you can usually control everything through it. Software for the tablet and hardware as a stand-alone server for it are available in abundance.

Do you happen to have a useful combo for doorbell system, visualization server that runs on the iPad? Where the visualization was planned, both a BUS cable and 230V are present.

What does usable mean? In principle, an IP cam and a raspberry are enough.

But it also works with the GIRA X1 and more than 50 other variants.
