Okay. Do you know a proven TKS?
My questions are aimed at a coherent system, and you can't see the forest for the trees when you use Google.

It is not A TKS, but THE TKS meant. Gira TKS.

But which components do I need for THE system from Gira? The page lists everything from gateway to video multiplexer to switching actuator. Just not what is needed for a functioning system. So far I understand: - Homeserver - TKS (...) - iPad for visualization I would like to put the components together to estimate where the system would be priced. With the BJ Smarttouch I would be around €2,300. Clearly, for a system with the server I am above that, I just want to see how much and then base my decision on what the system can and offers in comparison.

Regarding TKS:

    [*]TKS IP Gateway
    [*]Power supply door communication 24V
    [*]Control unit video
[*]Outdoor door station, e.g. Gira 106

With the simplest 106 outdoor door station, you are at around 2700 euros just for the TKS hardware.

I only need the individual modules, not the station. We have a flush-mounted mailbox with integrated doorbell system cast in concrete in the "canopy," the flush-mounted box is already concreted in.

To summarize:
- TKS IP gateway: 500€
- Power supply: 50€
- Video control unit: 200€
- Individual modules (camera, microphone, ), ESTIMATION
- Home server 2,000€
- 3 iPads: 1,200€

That would put me at about 4,000€. Is that correct?

That should be fine. For the individual modules, you should budget just under 1000 euros. Can you handle the TKS/KNX/homeserver commissioning yourself?
