There would be more space on the right side.

You will have to make a compromise one way or another.

I would choose the compromise that annoys me the least over the next 30 years: Reach into your wallet and pull out the bills for the corner bathtub.

If necessary, forego this sink if you can retrofit it. I would also tend towards the corner version.

Otherwise; "you only build once"... "it’s for the long term," you often tell yourself when building (you know that yourselves ), but at some point, it just doesn’t work anymore.

A glass wall at the door, yes. In your last two drafts, you each "built in" an additional one on the side of the shower at the bottom of the plan.
