The shell of the floor (OG) with the bathroom discussed here is scheduled to begin next week.

Then you also have the option to move the toilet to the other side; in other words, "yesterday" with your general contractor or plumber

May I ask what ballpark figure we are talking about? However, you can usually expect savings from the tiler to offset the extra investment in the corner bathtub. You quickly save a few square meters of floor and wall tiles. It’s not a fortune, but easily a few hundred euros as well.

In the end, you have to live with the decision and use the bathroom daily.

However, you have to expect increased effort for the partition wall and tiles here. Thanks

I also have to say, I actually think Jochen's idea is perfect. The shower then gets a longer glass wall (1.40m) and the water splashes are kept to a minimum - and if they do occur, only the bathtub gets a bit wet.

However, such a corner bathtub already costs 1,200 EUR or more on the internet (with a similar water volume as the 180x80 bathtub). I don't even want to know how much the various trades I just mentioned will pocket for themselves. I can't give you an exact number, Jochen.

I only know that the sink we chose in the showroom is now supposed to cost 1,640 EUR instead of 600 EUR. That is not proportional at all. I don't even want to imagine what kind of exotic price awaits us for the corner bathtub.

We are already considering doing the bathroom ourselves (or having it installed externally) and organizing the equipment ourselves, which again is not so easy to find someone to do it. The warranty issue is also tricky then.

A sink ü1600? What kind of exotic thing is that?

By the way, these corner bathtubs are usually not more expensive at all, since they are made of acrylic and this material is cheaper than enamel.
