I like it. Maybe build a small niche in the shower for shelves? Possibly even illuminated? Then you can even take a romantic shower

Works fine

What kind of equipment is it now?

I still have three comments:
How thick is the wall with the door? Ask your general contractor if the pre-wall at the shower is really necessary. Because it takes away a good piece of the shower area.
The shower tray will hopefully be as big as the shower wall, right? Or will it be fully tiled?
I would only have the pre-wall (toilet and washbasin) made as high as really necessary. That way you gain some shelf space between the pre-wall and the mirror cabinet. Otherwise, you have to hang your mirror cabinet too high if you don’t want it to look cramped.

If you want, you can also write the final surcharge. So others can get a feeling for it.

Good morning Jochen104,

I can gladly provide the details of the equipment once we have the offer for it, as we are still waiting for that.

According to the floor plan, the wall with the door is 11cm thick (thin), so that will not work, because the shaft behind the shower contains the entire supply for the house (including heating).

The shower tray is 100x100cm and will be recessed flush with the tiled floor. We were advised against a flush tiled shower in so many places (regarding leaks in the joints), so we decided on this option.

The idea of the pre-wall is a good one, however, we were told that this pre-wall for the toilet must be 130cm high. In the washbasin area, a shallower pre-wall could be chosen. But would this height difference look good?

I will then mention the surcharge here once I have the offer – as well as the photos, in about 6 months.

Best regards
Gatho

Great.

No, then unfortunately that won’t work. Too bad.

If you know how to do it and it’s done properly, there are no problems. Those who advise against it usually just can’t do it. But it’s not exactly rocket science. At least I wouldn’t like it that way.
I would at least try to find a shower tray as wide as the partition.

That usually depends on the size of the toilet installation. Our pre-walls are, I think, 1.20m or 1.25m. But I wouldn’t want to install an offset either.

Then you’re probably also curious whether it all fits into the budget.
I’m already looking forward to pictures – the 6 months will pass faster than you think.

Why does it have to be 130cm? The Geberit concealed cisterns require a height of 112cm from the finished floor, so it should be possible to keep it to a maximum of 120cm. Unfortunately, we also made the partition wall 130cm high, and that is borderline for the mirror cabinet. It still works, but I would have preferred it a bit lower.

Thanks for the note - I will keep an eye on it. 120cm would of course be better, I agree with you.
