Ideas for single-family house design with basement

I just want to add that I find the presented floor plan very successful and very spacious - if the large study room is also allowed a secondary use as a guest room, it would no longer be too large...

I think the draft by kbt09 is really something. The thing with the kitchen is also really well solved, I think!

I also like the approach of for the ground floor, but of course there is no adequate dining table in the kitchen. I find the architect's first approach miles better than the second. One could shorten the WC on the ground floor, have the office door open from the resulting hallway and assign the storage room to the living area (cozy corner) by making it the length of the office.

Then the kitchen is still too narrow and the bedroom remains a walk-through room :-( .

And the kitchen offers everything you need. I saw your kitchen plan with the Greens ... there are quite a few arguments against it, starting with the sink/cooktop being too close together, the dishwasher too far from the sink, unfavorable table position with a small table, etc.


I already wrote earlier ... square or almost square kitchen rooms are difficult to furnish and usually lead to unfavorable work surface arrangements.
