Hello Berlin 85
I don’t know what kind of house you have in mind, but if it can also be made of wood, you could easily finance it with your income.
We fulfilled this dream a few years ago and are totally satisfied.
Our house is 96m2 and on the upper floor with a knee wall about 96 cm high. The rest is obviously the roof slope, in which even an intermediate floor is possible.
These houses not only have the huge price advantage, but you can also specify all window and door openings and even the interior walls without paying an extra charge.
Many home builders probably think of value retention when it comes to wood, meaning painting.
However, if, like us, you want to do as little harm to the environment as possible, you can completely do without treating the wood. That is quite possible. With proper construction, nothing will happen to the wood except that it gradually turns gray.
Oh yes. Here is the part that will surely interest you the most: the costs.
Our house cost about €55,000. Sounds unrealistic, but it isn’t!!
However, I must add that we built the house completely by ourselves.
Only the kit was delivered (about €28,000).
If a construction team assembles the house, it costs about €5,500. It takes about 2-3 days. The rest would have to be done by you or craftsmen.
If you are interested, just write to me. I can also send you pictures and surely give you one or the other piece of advice.
Best regards,
Michael
