OK I accept that with the plastic house.

What do you think of Biohort Avantgarde A7/A8 or Highline H4/H5?

That is the highest quality metal house I know and it is completely maintenance-free.

The garden house is mostly in the shade; from 1 p.m. at the latest, the garden house is in the shade.

For a wooden house, what wall thickness should it have?

I just don't really find the metal things pretty. But they are definitely durable. Wood depends on the type of construction. If it's log cabin style, then like says, at least 40mm. Otherwise, the planks warp too easily and the thing will eventually become crooked. Wood frame kits usually have a load-bearing structure thick enough anyway, so the cladding can then be thinner.

More important than the thickness is the double groove. It simply provides much more stability. But then you automatically end up with >40mm.

Biohort is very good in all aspects: reliable delivery, understandable assembly instructions, easy assembly, everything fits, no missing parts, special request for the same lock for 2 ordered Highline models worked out.
We have been very satisfied with it for 6 years and find it visually appealing and indeed maintenance-free.

We have no condensation water, in summer it is warm inside, but that does not bother the bicycles and garden tools.

OK but a 40mm double-groove wooden garden house also costs 2000€ or more

We have 2 Highline but they are probably all good. Take the one that fits you best (dimensions, appearance, budget) ;)
