Oh, I forgot, women with opinions are per se picky to you. But that doesn’t matter in this case. I’m happy to be labeled a bitch then.

Who do you think should work in the tax office? Employees? Please think that through to the end, if you can. A strike in the tax administration would be a disaster for so many reasons, just like bribery, by the way. But yes, who needs civil servants anyway?
Your statements sound pretty jealous, but I might be too if I had your income even though I (according to my own statements) knew so much about my field and then had to bear all the disadvantages of the free market economy. I’d rather earn as little in comparison and look forward to my future, enormous pension and my job security.

By the way: Even if you worked in an office during your studies, you still don’t have all-knowing insight, but who am I trying to explain that to...

Overall, it’s always shocking how various people think they can judge “the civil servants” and assess their situation, motivation, and character anyway.

As the saying goes: You get back what you shout into the forest... You know what I mean. And your argument is not quite consistent. Then think further. Strike in elderly care sector, hospital sector, etc. people could die because of that. And they don’t earn anywhere near as much as those in the tax office. Besides, why should people from the tax office strike? Just because they can’t enjoy the benefits of civil service and have to start working? The cleaning staff who tidies their offices can’t do that either and they get pressure from their supervisors and that for much less money.

"... have to start working..." - and that's exactly why a discussion with you makes absolutely no sense. But nice how you disqualify yourself, so at least no one else has to do it.

It's always nice when you take a partial sentence from an essay. That's how your approach is evident. Leaving out things that make you look bad and only commenting on what suits you. Keep it up...

You, honestly - why should I try to convince you that your opinion is nonsense? It will just fizzle out anyway because you think you can judge everything. Because you once worked in an office during your studies. You really have to let that sink in. But hey, one last attempt: What’s the deal with comparing people in the healthcare sector? They are more important than tax officers, and if they’re not allowed to be civil servants then people from the financial administration shouldn’t be either, right? Or is this about my statement regarding a major disaster? Are you aware of where the money comes from that hospitals are run with, as long as they are not privately organized facilities? Or who manages and collects the money with which—for example—protective equipment can be ordered? Why, for example, should tax officers go on strike? I can think of many reasons, but how are you supposed to explain to someone who obviously thinks these are just lazy bums that the pressure (there actually are performance controls), the workload and the demands caused by constantly changing laws are absolutely not without challenges? Moreover: With the pay you get even in Bavaria in the upper service (and therefore with a diploma), nobody in our economy would do the job if there weren’t other advantages—then everyone who passes this study would switch to the private sector or wouldn’t even study tax law in the first place.

That’s why I say: raise salaries and abolish the civil service for such professional groups. The civil service would have long been abolished for some professions if people thought rationally. It’s not the case only because of the fear of losing votes. There are many other examples like the pay-as-you-go pension system, which sooner or later leads to significantly increased pension insurance contributions.

But I am just a know-it-all who has zero clue. Better listen to , she knows her stuff and always tolerates other opinions *Warning irony*

Let’s rather return to the actual topic and wait for an answer/new insights from the OP.
