Hey, we will also build standard but the walls will be 36.5 cm. Ventilation we will probably do neither decentralized nor centralized except in the bathroom where we want to have something installed. However, we only have an appointment next Friday regarding floor plans and where we can clarify a few questions. Heat pump surcharge for us would be 6000€ (Vaillant) Why do you want the Reco Compact for so much more money? What advantages do you have there?

I don't understand that. Why should you have to replace them? A central system can break down just as well. We have 11 devices in 146 sqm, one per room and three in the large living/dining room.

Central is then easier and cheaper to replace, the manufacturer does not matter either.

The RecoCompact has controlled residential ventilation with heat recovery included (so ~ 8000 EUR can be deducted from the total price - comparison price is from acquaintances in the area - then it's "only" an 8000 surcharge (2000 EUR more than your variant, purely for an air-water heat pump)

RecoCompact is SG Ready and photovoltaic ready (gives bonus points with the Bafa funding) for later retrofitting

Regarding indoor installation, I expect better efficiency in winter because the -20 degree cold air like in Arotherm is not used, but first the air cooled by the controlled residential ventilation/heat recovery. See also:

We also prefer indoor installation over a split solution with outdoor installation.

Provided that all devices have to be replaced... Strictly speaking, decentralized ones even spread the risk of failure. Not statistically, but if it hits you and the system fails earlier than expected - the probability that all decentralized fans break down prematurely is not very high. Maybe one or two. The noise is a clear disadvantage of the decentralized devices, that’s just how it is. But apart from that, I somehow find the decentralized ones more charming. But I don’t really know much.
