Town & Country I also count among those with method A, and method B rather targets the price seeker who "can’t read" in a deceptive way. With method A, prices can be reasonable if the changes are reasonable. However, it requires customers who can resist the capriciousness of numerous back-and-forth changes. With customers who reorder so many details of a hunter’s schnitzel in a salami tactic until it turns into a blue trout, the Town & Country calculation wouldn’t work.

This is exactly where the Flair builder differs almost diametrically contrary from the Maxime builder.

@ Yosan
What did you change about the window sills? Everything to stone or granite or something like that?

We really still don’t know what to do with the decentralized ventilation. It’s about the noise and the draft. Where we have been to 2 house viewings, they built without ventilation. On April 22nd (Easter Monday) we want to finalize it with Town & Country; I don’t yet know to what extent we can still change it.

I wouldn't build without it! It's already a great increase in comfort and probably absolutely necessary with the very dense houses of today.

With us, drafts only come in when it's really stormy outside. However, we don't notice it from the draft itself, but from the fact that the house gets a bit colder over a longer period of time and from noises, like the wind pushing into the fans. But you could also turn the flaps and thus make the fans reasonably airtight.

Regarding the noise of the fans: there are special soundproof flaps (I don't remember what they are called) - maybe that would be an option? At least for the bedrooms? I once read that it definitely gets better with them.

Somehow, I can only find additionally insulated exterior caps right now...

Maybe ask the general contractor what options they see.
