At home, one is simply more easily distracted. You can't say that when I "work" 8 hours at home while also taking care of children, cooking for them, etc., I accomplish the same amount of work as 8 hours in the office... Nevertheless, there will be more remote work in the future...

There are many studies that conclude that about 4 hours in the office are really productive – I have those at [Home-Office] too; even when I cook. When I walk around with my eyes open at our place, I sometimes even doubt the 4 hours – even with those who always groan about how chronically overworked they are...

now it's drifting off again... but I also think - and I believe there are many studies on this - that you can be just as productive in far less than 8 hours, which is the average worked, especially in the office.

I can do home office, that's not an issue.

A different question: Can you also have houses "evaluated" here in the forum that you find on Immo and so on, especially existing properties where there might be a catch, etc....

Is that also part of this community?

No, this is not recorded with [Schufa]. If you have received a loan far over 10 k€, you will still have to pay close to 10 k€ even with the waiver. In my case, I went from 10 k€ down to 7,400 €; it was worth it. My wife ended up just below 10 k€, so we are paying that over the years.

You will receive a notice that contains all of this and explains it - nothing mysterious.

Whether you want to have someone living through this is a matter of taste – I would not want that.

Me neither, not even in a basement apartment.

The interesting thing about this property would be that the presumed apartment could ideally later become a practice for my wife... that would be really chic and practical...

But otherwise, of course, it is better if you have everything for yourself...
